Pineapple & Mint

Jamie Oliver's recipe... very tasty! (Pineapple's are plenteous and cheap this time of year.)
- 1 ripe pineapple
- 4 heaped tablespoons caster sugar
- 1 handful fresh mint
You are supposed to slice the pineapple into quarters then lengthways - but I am lazy and just cut unto cubes! Bash mint and sugar in a pestle and mortar. Spread over pineapple. Serve with plain yogurt if desired.

Photographer's Office

This photographer's home was featured in Blueprint magazine. I liked the idea of printing out images on paper and sticking it to the wall, which looks like what she's done here. Also... her kitchen has no blinds, curtains on the windows, as she often uses her kitchen as a studio. Bookcase

Real Simple - September 2004... bookcase organization. Want to do it with pink boxes for my bedroom. Only, I saw the pink boxes in Kikki K. in Sydney... can't find any in Vancouver, yet. Also like the idea of covering some books with vellum... like the ones with the scary colored covers that don't go with the room decor.

Seapool

At Nun's Pool cafe in Cronulla, they had large canvases of closeups of sea life on the beach. I took this shot with the intention of blowing it up into a large canvas for my wall. Just have to figure out how to do it...
